work on straight bowing
bowZo
is a plastic attachment that sits over the Violin or Viola's bridge reaching
across to the end of the fingerboard. It has a slot for your bow to travel
through which is parallel to the bridge. This helps you to achieve "straight
bowing".
bowZo is ideal for beginners of all ages and the seasoned player who wants
to improve their bowing action.
It is also great for warming up at the start of a lesson or for home practice.
Repeated use teaches muscle memory which remains once the bowZo is removed.
Used properly, the bowZo can be applied to practice just about any technical
work or piece.
It is especially helpful with "long whole bows" for
scales and working with more specific parts of the bow such as the tip
or middle.
